Police are looking for two suspects linked to the shooting of two men late Monday night.
The victims, 23 and 19, were shot shortly after 10:45 p.m. in the 900 block of South Mission, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said. That’s east of Lincoln and Woodlawn.
The men were shot outside by suspects who walked up and fired several rounds, Lt. James Espinoza said. Some of the bullets struck a residence; four people ranging in age from 7 to 39 were inside, though none of the occupants were injured.
“This is gang-related,” Espinoza said.
Never miss a local story.
Both victims are documented gang members, he said.
They were taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment, the dispatcher said. Police were making little progress in identifying suspects, Espinoza said.
“People are very uncooperative, which makes it hard to investigate as thoroughly as we need to,” he said.
