A man was injured and a Porsche was taken during a home robbery Thursday.
Wichita police responded to a robbery call around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of North Piatt, Wichita police Officer Charley Davidson said. That’s near I-135 and 21st Street.
A 67-year-old man found his 70-year-old brother “with a head injury,” Davidson said. Someone broke into the home through a rear entrance. The injured man was sent to a hospital in critical condition.
A blue Porsche Cayenne was missing but was found in the 2400 block of North Minnesota, which is several blocks away.
“This is still an open and active investigation,” said Davidson, encouraging residents with information about the robbery to call detectives at 316-268-4407 or Wichita-Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
