Police said they arrested a 23-year-old Wichita woman early Saturday after she allegedly stabbed and injured two people during an argument.
Officers were called to a reported domestic violence argument in the 1900 block of South Santa Fe just before midnight Friday, Wichita police Officer Charley Davidson said.
They found a man, 43, with stab wounds to both arms and a woman, 50, with cuts, he said. They told officers they had been hurt during an argument and gave police the name of the woman who they said cut them with a knife.
The man went to a hospital with serious injuries, and emergency medical services personnel treated the woman at the scene, Davidson said.
Police later found and arrested the 23-year-old woman at another address. She was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of two counts of aggravated battery, Davidson said.
The suspect is related to the two victims, Davidson said.
