A Dollar General in the 1600 block of East Central was robbed Wednesday night by three armed men, Wichita police said.

About 8:40 p.m., the men entered the store. One was carrying a shotgun and the other two handguns, Lt. James Espinoza said.

Three store employees tried to lock themselves in an office, but the suspects threatened to shoot customers if the employees didn’t open the door. The employees complied, and the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
