Police are still looking for a man who attempted to rob a downtown McDonald’s on Tuesday afternoon but ultimately left without any money.

The suspect walked into the McDonald’s at 411 S. Broadway at about 1 p.m. and showed a 19-year-old clerk a gun tucked into the waistband of his shorts, Lt. James Espinoza said. The suspect didn’t say anything and the clerk did not give him any money.

The suspect then left the restaurant.
