A man walking on North Market late Sunday night was robbed at gunpoint by a stranger, police said.

The 30-year-old victim was walking in the 1100 block of North Market at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday when he was approached by someone he didn’t know, Capt. Dan East said. The stranger pulled out a gun and demanded his money.

The suspect then left in an unknown direction with money from the victim, as well as his cellphone, East said.
