Three men were shot, one fatally, outside a nightclub near Lincoln and Hydraulic early Sunday morning, police said.
A fight broke out at the Spotlite 2, 1710 E. Morris, and around 1:30 a.m., three men were shot in the parking lot – a 21-year-old, a 28-year-old and a 30-year-old, said Wichita police Sgt. John Hoofer.
The 30-year-old was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, where he was pronounced dead. The 21-year-old was treated and released. The 28-year-old also was taken to the hospital.
No arrests have been made, Hoofer said.
On Sunday afternoon, the area around the club was still cordoned off with police tape, and three police cars were parked nearby. Officers could be seen walking in and out of the club.
Homicide detectives will provide more information on Monday, Hoofer said.
