The crime

At 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, two men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and white scarves covering their faces entered the Dollar General at 1624 E. Central. One man pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register. The two fled the scene in a white, mid 1990s, Ford Crown Victoria with black rims. The suspect pointing his gun at the clerk is a black man in his mid 20s, 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds. He was wearing black sweats and white shoes with a black tip. The other suspect also is a black male in his mid 20s, 6 feet tall and medium build. He was wearing burgundy sweats and black shoes with white shoe laces. He also showed a silver handgun.
