A Clearwater educator who was arrested last week for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student was charged today in Sedgwick County District Court with two felony counts of having unlawful sexual relations with a student.
Court records show that Amber D. Dull, 33, is charged with committing the crimes on May 18 and June 17. She was ordered to appear for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 7.
Clearwater school officials said Dull worked with special-education students in the high school as an employee of the Sedgwick County Area Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative.
In Kansas, it's illegal for a teacher to have sexual relations with a student of any age.
