The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding two men who tried to abduct a 14-year-old girl this week in northwest Sedgwick County.
The Sheriff's Office said in a news release that the men were in a black pickup when they tried to abduct the girl between 8 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on West 61st Street North about two miles east of Andale.
The truck was described as an older-model pickup with faded paint, tinted windows and a dent along the bottom of the driver's door.
The driver was white, 18 to 20 years old, 5-feet-10 to 5-feet-11, and had dirty-blond hair with long bangs and a diamond stud in his right ear. He was wearing black gym shorts, a white cut-off shirt and tennis shoes.

The passenger was white, 5-feet-11 to 6 feet tall, with brown hair and a muscular build. He was wearing black-and-red gym shorts, a white cut-off shirt, tan sandals, and a ball cap with the letters "DC" in white.
