Police are asking for help locating a woman suspected of robbing the Fidelity Bank branch at 3532 E. Harry on Tuesday.
Police said the woman came into the bank at 9:04 a.m., showed the tellers a small silver handgun and demanded they fill a bag with money.
She was last seen headed south on Roosevelt in a black midsize Ford SUV.
She was described as black, in her 50s, about 5 feet 3 and weighing more than 200 pounds. She was wearing a maroon coat, black stocking cap, black sunglasses, dark pants and tennis shoes.
A dye pack exploded in the Spangles parking lot near the bank, authorities said, marking the robber and the money.
