Wichita men suspected of committing at least 18 residential burglaries since June have been arrested, the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office said.
The men, ages 50 and 53, were arrested Wednesday and remain in the Sedgwick County Jail. They have not been charged.
The value of the stolen items is more than $75,000, the sheriff's office said. More than $8,000 in stolen property has been recovered.
The men are also suspects in Sumner and Butler counties, the Sheriff's Office said.
Sedgwick County deputies arrested the men after an attempted burglary in western Sedgwick County.
They are suspected of stealing a variety of items, including jewelry, from homes, said sheriff's Lt. Jay McLaurian. The department received tips from pawn shops about suspicious activity involving the men, he said.
The Sheriff's Office will present its case to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office on Monday.
