Wichita dermatologists will give free skin cancer exams on May 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The screenings will take place at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, 1010 N. Kansas, and are open to the public.
The dermatologists will not give treatments for suspicious moles or spots they find, but can offer recommendations for further treatment and evaluation.
The American Academy of Dermatology, Medical Society of Sedgwick County and University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita are sponsoring the event.
