The Wichita City Council is expected to name a new park at the corner of Central and Grove, the Elm Neighborhood Park, according to city documents.
The council will vote on naming the park during its meeting Tuesday.
A playground was recently installed at the park, which is included in the Elm Neighborhood Association, according to city documents. The park also has a bench and picnic table, along with perimeter fencing for safety.
Last month, the District 1 advisory board approved the name, and last week, the Board of Park Commissioners also approved it.

Signs for the new park will cost $600, according to city documents.
