Wichita police arrested six juveniles early Sunday morning on suspicion of burglary.

Police had received a tip about a burglary on Saturday night at LC Motors, near Broadway and MacArthur Road, said Sgt. Ed Brower, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department. Police set up surveillance at the business early Sunday.

Shortly after 3:25 a.m. Sunday, they observed several individuals attempting to break into the business. The suspects took off running as police interviewed them – all six were younger than 18. They were taken into custody and transported to the police department’s investigations unit to be interviewed, Brower said.

It was not known why they were breaking in, he said.
