Police say gang rivalry is to blame for Friday morning's double shooting in the parking lot of an east Wichita nightclub.
An argument that likely started inside Club Rodeo, 10001 E. Kellogg, moved outside after the club closed, Wichita police Lt. Ken Landwehr said.
Two men in their 20s were critically injured after three men fired shots into a white Crown Victoria, Landwehr said, striking one man in the head and a second in the hand. Both men are expected to live, Landwehr said Friday.
Two other people in the car — a 27-year-old man and 24-year-old woman — were not injured.

Between 15 and 20 shots were fired, Landwehr said. The incident happened about 1:45 a.m..
Officers took five suspects into custody as they attempted to flee the scene, police said. Witnesses identified the men to police.
Officers recovered three guns at the scene, Landwehr said. Forensic testing was being conducted Friday afternoon.
Landwehr said three of the suspects will likely face charges of attempted first-degree murder. Two others were taken into custody under suspicion of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
