J.P. Weigand & Sons now serves as the leasing agent for the 125 N. Market building in downtown Wichita, according to a news release Tuesday.
Weigand took over the role from NAI Martens on April 1, the release said. The building is owned by the Security National Life Insurance Co., which is based in Utah.
“We sincerely appreciate the efforts of NAI Martens, who guided our leasing efforts over the past three years as we upgraded the infrastructure and added amenities to the building,” Bryce Baker, vice president of real estate for Security National, said in the release.
Leading the Weigand leasing for the building will be Kristin Stang and Kameron Rich, according to the release. Weigand-Omega Management will continue as the property management team for the building.

“My background in architecture and design allows me to help my clients visualize possibilities for these spaces,” said Stang in the release. “Tenants today want more than just a place to work, they want a lifestyle, and 125 N. Market provides this kind of environment.”
Rich specializes in retail and office sales and leasing, the release said.
“Millennials, in particular, prefer work environments with open, collaborative spaces and great views of the outdoors,” Rich said. “New apartments and lofts downtown are attracting many younger workers who like living and working in the city’s core.”
