Sharp plans custom home subdivision in El Dorado

Custom-built homes would be constructed in northeast El Dorado, adjacent to the Prairie Trails Golf Course.

Area custom home builder Craig Sharp said Monday he will be helping to develop a small, new subdivision adjacent to the Prairie Trails Golf Course in El Dorado.

Sharp said the Links @ Ledgestone will have 21 home lots on about 10 acres next to the course, which is in northeast El Dorado.

Sharp said he will be the primary home builder on the land that is owned by Ramon Criss.

“I’m helping him on the development side and the marketing,” Sharp said.

Sharp said the Links @ Ledgestone will be open to other custom home builders.

“I will be doing models and specs, but it will be open for customs,” he said.

Sharp said he hopes to begin construction on two models in late October.

“There’s no road yet,” he said. “The infrastructure contractors are starting this week on all the infrastructure.”

Sharp said homes will start at $240,000.

More information about the development will be posted this week on his website, craigsharphomes.com.
