Aero-Tech Engineering has plans to move and expand to the new Maize Industrial Park at the northwest corner of 119th Street West and 53rd Street North.
The aerospace manufacturer currently is in 30,000 square feet at 2326 S. Southeast Blvd.
The company, which focuses on major structures and 5-axis machining, is buying 10 acres and plans to build an approximately 50,000-square-foot building at the park.
The Maize City Council last week approved $5 million in industrial revenue bonds. Other taxing districts still have to approve the bonds.
Never miss a local story.
Aero-Tech also has to finalize a few things before moving forward. The company expects to make a final decision about the move and exact square footage in the next 45 to 60 days.
