It’s been several weeks since Have You Heard? reported that Designer Shoe Warehouse is one of several new stores that will be opening at Greenwich Place, but the Ohio-based chain now confirms it.
“We are planning to open a store this fall in the area and will have more information in the months to come,” spokeswoman Maria Wollenburg said in an e-mail.
Greenwich Place is the 106-acre development at K-96 and Greenwich where the Wichita Sports Forum opened late last year.
Bed Bath & Beyond, World Market and BuyBuy Baby all recently opened there.
Joining those stores will be Wichita’s third Ross Dress For Less – there’s a sign up for it now – and third Ulta Beauty. Also coming will be HomeGoods, a home decor sister store to T.J. Maxx and Marshalls; Cavender’s, a Texas-based western wear store; and Mardel, a Christian book and gift store, though none of those stores is confirming the news yet.
City documents also show that a Del Sol, a prototype that’s the newest concept for La Quinta, also will be opening next to the Sports Forum.
