In October, Have You Heard? reported that Toronto-based Logit Group was considering Wichita for a new 100-seat call center and was particularly eyeing the former Circuit City space at 8405 E. Kellogg.
Now, the business, which does market research for other companies, has signed a lease for the space and plans a late January or early February opening of a 115-seat center.
“It’s got a lot of visibility,” president Sam Pisani says of the space.
He also likes the easy access from major thoroughfares and the parking available at the building.
Never miss a local story.
The company considered Wichita along with other markets and, after detailed analysis, decided Wichita was tops for workforce quality and availability, education and its centralized location and ability to maximize time zones.
Pisani says his goal is that eventually the center would be Logit’s U.S. operations hub.
“It’s just an ideal set up for us.”

Pisani says construction is underway now.
“Everything is a go.”
