Ben Arnold, who’s already one of the busiest people in the food business in Wichita, now has a catering contract with Century II.
“It’s pretty big,” says Arnold, who owns Corporate Caterers of Wichita.
He says Century II customers will have a choice between using his firm or catering from the Hyatt Regency Wichita.
“We have high expectations for Century II,” Arnold says. “Our goal is to double their sales. I think we can do that.”
Never miss a local story.
He already has contracts at the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview, Cafe Intrust and Cafe 151.
“This actually makes my life a whole lot easier,” Arnold says of the Century II contract.
Arnold and his business partner, Dwight Wells, are leaving their space at Comotara Center at 29th and Rock Road.
“If it works out, we’re going to relocate to Century II,” Arnold says.
He’s hoping to rent storage from Century II and will do catering out of AVI Seabar & Chophouse at the Drury.
Arnold will make the move in January when there are a lot fewer catering events than the busy upcoming holiday season.
“And we’ve had a week of sleep.”
