Class isn’t in session yet, but Sachin Bharati has opened his new Tutoring Center franchise at the Village at Greenwich at 21st and Greenwich.
“We are ready to enroll,” he says.
The business, which Bharati told Have You Heard? about this spring, is part of a California-based chain that uses a research-based tutoring system.
The franchise offers an after-school education center for children from kindergarten through 12th grade and specializes in reading, math and writing. Bharati hopes to eventually add SAT and ACT prep classes as well.
Never miss a local story.
Classes will begin in early October.
In addition to enrolling, parents can sign up their children for diagnostic assessments, which have to be done before they can attend classes.
“They can stop by, call, visit our website,” Bharati says.
The website is www.wichita.tutoringcenter.com.
Tutoring Center hours are 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. weekdays.
Bharati says there’s a chance he could expand around the greater Wichita area once this center is established.
“I would like to probably in the future.”
