Sunflower Bank’s Wichita president has resigned.
Mark Heiman, who was named to the post last August, resigned on Thursday.
“I have resigned to pursue other business opportunities that are as yet, undetermined,” Heiman said on Tuesday, when asked about his reason for resigning.
Sunflower spokesman Mario Molina said the bank hopes to name a new Wichita president in the next couple of weeks.
Heiman joined Sunflower from Bank of America, where he had most recently worked in its private banking division.
He was at Bank of America for 21 years.
