Bombardier Aerospace’s Learjet 70 and 75 business jets have received full type certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of Mexico.
The certification is a milestone for the business jets, Eric Martel, president of Bombardier Business Aircraft, said in a statement.
“We’ve had tremendous support from our customers in Mexico and we’re thrilled they will be able to experience our newest Learjet aircraft,” Martel said.
The two planes are assembled in Wichita.
The Learjet 70 and 75 received Federal Aviation Administration and Transport Canada certification in 2013 and European Aviation Safety Agency, or EASA, certification in September.
