Bombardier said Tuesday that VistaJet had placed firm orders for 20 Challenger 350 jets and options for an additional 20 Challenger 350 jets, a deal that would be worth just over $1 billion at list prices if all options are exercised.
In a news release, Bombardier said that deliveries of the Challenger 350 will begin in mid 2014.
The announcement was made from the Paris Air Show. VistaJet is a private plane and charter service based in Europe. Bombardier is Learjet’s parent company.
Bombardier, which is based in Canada, also announced firm orders for 12 Global 8000 business jets from an undisclosed customer. The transaction is valued at approximately $804 million, based on the 2013 list price for typically equipped aircraft.
