The CEO of First National Bank in Pratt has been named as the chairman of the Kansas Bankers Association, the organization announced in a news release.
Kelly Mason is an owner of the Pratt bank in addition to his CEO duties. He and a group of local investors purchased the bank from George Chandler in 2008.
Mason started his banking career in the 1980s as a credit analyst at Intrust Bank before moving to other officer and management positions at banks in Lyons and Kingman.
In his role as KBA chairman, Mason will serve as a leading voice for the state’s banking industry on the state and national levels.
