Sunflower Bank said Thursday it has named a former UMB Bank officer as its new Wichita president.
The Salina-based bank said in a news release that Randy Summers takes over the post vacated last week by Mark Heiman.
Summers has 37 years experience in banking and was most recently a senior vice president at UMB.
“Randy is a great addition to our senior leadership team. His track record of growing strong banking relationships and customer service is impressive and a great fit,” Mollie Carter, Sunflower’s president and CEO, said in the release. “He brings a wealth of banking knowledge and experience, and he will focus on creating possibilities for success for Sunflower Bank customers.”
