Architecture

Mark Bumpas, an electrical drafter, has joined LawKingdon Architectural.

Samantha Thomas, an architectural drafter, has joined LawKingdon Architectural.

Tyler Hiatt has joined LawKingdon Architectural as an architectural intern.

Andrew O’Meilia has joined GLMV Architecture as an intern in landscape architecture.

Rex Reynolds and Jeff Rich have been hired by CornerBank’s Wichita branch as senior vice presidents of lending.

Education

Lyle Baade, chair of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, has been awarded the Albert Bandura Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Independent School has announced its board of trustees: Jane Shaw, community volunteer, chair; Rolf Gunderson, owner and president of ProFillment; Matt Jordan, COO of Kansas Leadership Center; Jill Mitchell, community volunteer; and Andrew Nichols, vice president of finance, Yingling Aviation.

Grant Garwood has joined the Ameriprise Financial practice of Jerry Juhnke as a client service coordinator.

Mike Proctor, a financial adviser and college unit director for Northwestern Mutual, RPS Financial Group, has qualified for the Sapphire Star Club Award.

Tim Rogers, a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual, RPS Financial Group, has been awarded the company’s Silver Award.

Northwestern Mutual has named intern Andrew Wehner a Power of 10 Award Winner.

Health Care

Physician Patrick Bloedel has assumed the general surgery practice of Anthony Johnstone, who recently retired. Thomas Lyman, who specializes in podiatric medicine has assumed the practice of Richard James, who retired in July. Bloedel’s and Lyman’s offices are in the Physicians Pavilion at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.

Dentist Doug Chambers has joined the dental practice of Thomas Fankhauser, East Wichita Dentist, 8150 E. Douglas.

Insurance

Josh Bolduc, an agent with State Farm Insurance, has been awarded the NAIFA Quality Award, Ambassador Travel Level II Award and Chairman Circle Award for 2013.

Christy Smith and Vanessa Leithoff have joined Josh Bolduc State Farm agency as multi-line representatives.

Stephanie Wiens has joined the sales team at IMA as a producer.
