New website

Young Professionals of Wichita has launched a redesigned website at www.ypwichita.org. Armstrong Chamberlin assisted in the redesign.

Verizon Wireless made a $23,825 grant to StepStone in Wichita, which provides support services and transitional housing to victims of domestic violence.

Shelter Insurance Cos. awarded $5,000 to the Haysville Education Foundation. The grant was awarded as part of the company’s Facebook essay contest called “Thankful for Our Communities.” Susan Armstrong of Haysville was one of the contest’s four winners, each of whom designated a $5,000 grant to the charity of her choice.
