An affiliate of Koch Fertilizer said Wednesday it has finalized its acquisition of parts of a former business unit of Agrium Inc.
Koch Agronomic Services said the acquisition, financial terms of which were not disclosed, is of the turf and ornamental assets, brands and product technologies of Agrium Advanced Technologies.
The acquisition provides nutrient solutions for the horticulture, turf grass, consumer land and garden, and specialty agriculture segments, Koch Agronomic said in a news release.
The deal includes production facilities in Sylacauga, Ala., and global intellectual property rights related to Polyon, Duration, XCU, Nutralene and Nitroform brands of slow-release and controlled-release fertilizers.
