Green Biz will discuss water issues at Tuesday meeting

Green Biz Wichita, a group of local members of the business community interested in environmental issues, will have a public meeting Tuesday to discuss water issues facing Wichita and the state.

“Wichita’s Water Supply – The vision for the future of water in Kansas” will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Hotel at Old Town Conference Center, 830 E. First.

Ben Nelson, strategic services manager, City of Wichita, will lead the discussion. Tracy Streeter, director of the Kansas Water office, will be linked to the meeting electronically.

“This will be a way to get the latest information about how we’re dealing with this critical issue,” said Dixie Larson, board president of Green Biz Wichita.
