A Chicago-based delivery and assembly company will move its call center to Pittsburg after being purchased by Backyard Leisure Holdings, which is also based in Pittsburg.

As part of the move, Go Configure will invest more than $9 million and create 35 jobs, according to a news release from the state Department of Commerce. The company says it could add five more jobs in the next two years.

Backyard Leisure Holdings CEO Ron Scripsick said adding Go Configure to the Backyard Leisure portfolio was an important part of the company’s growth strategy.

Go Configure was founded in 1996 and now serves more than 1,000 retail locations in 48 states. Its clients include Sam’s Club, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Academy Sports and Lowe’s.

Go Configure plans to relocate to an existing facility at the Pittsburg airport industrial park. It will also move its administrative offices to Pittsburg.
