Koch subsidiary acquires Agrium Advanced Technologies

Koch Agronomic Services, an affiliate of Koch Fertilizer that specializes in advanced formula fertilizers, is buying the assets of Agrium Advanced Technologies, which is in the horticulture, turf grass, consumer lawn and garden and specialty agriculture industries.

KAS will acquire production facilities in Sylacauga, Ala., and global intellectual property rights to Polyon, Duration, Xcu, Nutralene and Nitroform slow-release and controlled-release fertilizers.

The transaction is expected to close in June. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
