Manhattan manufacturer plans to add 100 jobs, invest $7 million

A Manhattan manufacturer of mailboxes and parcel lockers plans a $7 million capital investment and to add 100 jobs, a Kansas Department of Commerce news release said on Thursday.
Florence Manufacturing Co., a division of Gibraltar Industries, said the expansion will expand its production capabilities and add capacity to the manufacture and distribution of centralized mailboxes and parcel locker products in North America. The investment also will support new products and new business opportunities.
The additional jobs will increase the company’s employment to more than 400, according to the release.
