SCKEDD, a regional economic development agency, sets annual meeting

The South Central Kansas Economic Development District will hold its annual meeting Thursday afternoon at 250 W. Douglas.
The district is one of 10 planning and development regions in Kansas. It covers 14 counties, including Butler, Chautauqua, Cowley, Elk, Greenwood, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Marion, McPherson, Reno, Rice, Sedgwick and Sumner.
The annual meeting will begin with a reception at 3 p.m., which will include appetizers, followed by the business meeting at 4 p.m.
Anyone interested is invited to attend the reception and meeting.
