A Dallas firm said this week that it has completed its acquisition of a pipeline systems that runs through part of the Wichita metro area.
Rimrock Midstream said the pipeline system it acquired from Rose Rock Midstream Crude includes 45 miles of common carrier pipeline and truck stations that gather crude oil produced in the Flint Hills region of Butler and Greenwood counties.
“The Flint Hills system is a strategic fit with our existing asset footprint delivering product to our El Dorado, Kan., storage and blending terminal,” said Josh Cruzan, Rimrock’s executive vice president of business development, in a news release.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in the release.
