Bombardier expands mobile maintenance service with Learjet

Bombardier has expanded its customer response service by adding a dedicated airplane, a Learjet 45, to support U.S. business aircraft operators needing repairs.

The airplane will operate around the clock and be based at Chicago Executive Airport in Palwaukee, Ill., Bombardier said. The airport is near the Bombardier Parts Hub and Chicago-based Customer Response Team truck.

Bombardier’s Customer Response Center will dispatch the airplane and coordinate activities with the rest of the team.

“By expanding our Customer Response Team through the addition of an aircraft, we can support our customers with even greater flexibility and speed,” Michel Ouellette, president of Bombardier Aerospace’s customer services and specialized and amphibious aircraft, said in a statement. “The Customer Response Team will continue to provide an efficient and responsive solution for Bombardier business aircraft operators, as we deliver on our promise of putting customers first.”

Bombardier’s Customer Response Team includes the Learjet 45, Customer Response Team Express parts delivery, Customer Response Teams, which includes technicians dispatched to help, and an unscheduled maintenance team based at Bombardier Service Centers.
