President of Pump’n Pete’s in Parsons elected to lead PMCA

Gratz Peters, president of Pete’s Corporation in Parsons, has been elected president of the Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association of Kansas.

Gratz Peters, president of Pete’s Corporation in Parsons, has been elected president of the Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association of Kansas.

The election was held this week at the PMCA’s 99th annual convention at the DoubleTree Hotel in Overland Park.

Peters, who lives in Erie, has been a member of the PMCA board of directors since 2006, and has been a member of the association’s executive committee for the past three years. His company operates Pump’n Pete’s stations.

PMCA of Kansas is a statewide trade association representing the independent marketing segment of the petroleum industry. PMCA membership consists of nearly 300 licensed petroleum distributors, convenience store owners/operators and gasoline retailers.

PMCA of Kansas was established in Wichita in 1914 as the Kansas Oil Men’s Association.
