Spirit AeroSystems has made some key leadership changes as it focuses on its strategic priorities, the company said Friday.

Phil Anderson, previously Spirit’s chief financial officer, has been named senior vice president of defense and contracts. He will be responsible for the company’s contracting and for solidifying the structure for Spirit to pursue more military work going forward, the company said.

Sanjay Kapoor is joining the company as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Kapoor has served as chief financial officer at divisions within Raytheon Co. and United Technologies Corp. He recently served as vice president of Raytheon’s Integrated Air & Missile Defense segment at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.

Anderson and Kapoor will report to Spirit president and CEO Larry Lawson.
