Eric Thummel has been promoted from manager to senior manager in the tax department of Allen, Gibbs & Houlik.
Ryan Reid has been promoted to account manager and chief pilot at Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics.
Tracy Vetruba has joined the engineering department at Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics as a mechanical design engineer.
Baylee Cunningham has joined Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics as an engineering specialist.
Julie Strelow has joined the Regency Lakes office of KANZA Bank as residential lending specialist.
Tina Powell, a dental hygienist, has joined Hunter Health Clinic.
Chuck Welch has been named national director, new business development at EagleMed.

Marilee McBoyle, surgeon and clinical associate professor at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, won the 2013 Teacher of the Year award. The annual award is given by the graduating class of surgery residents.
