Officials from the area’s annual professional golf tournament said Wednesday they have added a seventh corporate sponsor.
Aviation supplier Global Parts has become an Air Capital Classic Ambassador, tournament officials said.
The Augusta-based company joins six other companies, said Air Capital Classic tournament director Roy Turner. Those companies are: accounting firm BKD, Credit Union of America, Intrust Bank, McGinty Machine, Wesley Medical Center and Via Christi Health.
Officials of the tournament on the Web.com Tour told The Eagle last week that they would be seeking support from businesses for the tournament, which has been a part of the 24-year history of the PGA Tour’s developmental circuit.
