Fred Meyer Jewelers part of new Dillons store in Hutchinson

Fred Meyer Jewelers is opening its fourth store in Kansas on Aug. 28 at the new Dillons Marketplace, 3200 Plaza East Drive, in Hutchinson.

Fred Meyer Jewelers is opening its fourth store in Kansas on Aug. 28 at the new Dillons Marketplace, 3200 Plaza East Drive, in Hutchinson.

Starting at 7 a.m. on opening day, the first 100 jewelry store customers will receive a free six-piece freshwater pearl bracelet, according to the release. Other promotions also are planned.

The 1,300-square-foot store is the 53rd Fred Meyer Jewelers within a Kroger-associated Marketplace store, according to the release.

Fred Meyer Jewelers operates 325 jewelry stores in 30 states. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fred Meyer Stores, which was acquired in 1999 by Kroger.
