Jason Barb has been promoted to health care audit partner at BKD and is a member of BKD National Health Care Group.
Becky Peters has joined the account team at LawKingdon Architecture.
Jesse Burkett has joined the retail team as an intern architect at LawKingdon Architecture.
Taylor Zimbelman has been named an associate member of The American Society of Golf Course Architects. Zimbelman is a principal designer with Dye Designs Group in Englewood, Colo., and is based in Kansas.
David Folsom has joined Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture as an intern architect.
Julie Huber has been named executive vice president and chief credit officer at Equity Bank. Huber was most recently chief risk officer. Rolando Mayans has joined the bank as executive vice president and chief risk officer.
Ted Dankert, Alan Jaax and Jackie Vietti have been elected to the board of directors of the Butler Community College Foundation.
Cherrie Brubaker, Bridget Bowman and Reed Holbrook of Westar Energy have completed the Leadership Elite program at the Center for Management Development at Wichita State University.
Reed Holbrook has been promoted to business manager at Westar Energy.
Lance Loganbill has joined Building Controls and Services as an intern engineer.
James Williams has been hired as communications manager for Go Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Claudia Lovings, an audiologist, has joined Via Christi Clinic’s Founders’ Circle location.

Kayli Smith has been promoted to chief operating officer at Grene Vision Group.
Deputy district attorney Ron Paschal has been elected chairman of the statewide Prosecutor’s Grievance and Ethics Committee. Paschal has also been elected chairman of Team Justice, the juvenile corrections advisory board to the Sedgwick County Commission.
Larry Gronau has been named director of sales and marketing at Q Corporation and Q Automation in Derby.
Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice has added the following new members to its board of directors: Abel Perez, Synergic Resources; Tom Nester, volunteer, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice; and Sister Gracelyn Soignet, Sisters of St. Joseph.
