Keith Villa, founder of Blue Moon Brewing Company, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s awards banquet and scholarship program.
The May 16 event, the 11th annual awards and scholarship program, is a partnership between the Hispanic Chamber and the Kansas Hispanic Education & Development Foundation. Forty-three Hispanic scholars will be honored, and the achievements in the Hispanic business community will be recognized at the event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Wichita Airport.
Villa is expected to talk about developing his beer and company from its founding, as well as discussing his journey from biology major to master brewer.
The foundation will award more than $50,000 in scholarships to 43 graduating seniors from the Wichita area.
Individual tickets are $50 and tables are $500. Tables include eight seats for the purchaser and two for a student and guest. For tables and ticket information call 316-265-6334 or e-mail email@example.com
