Mylinda Hoover has joined Lifeboat Creative as a graphic designer.


Benjamin Walter has joined Howard and Helmer Architecture as a project architect.


Miranda Hoge has been hired as a deposit operations specialist at Legacy Bank.

Rose Hill Bank has added Lisa Kelley as vice president-loan officer and branch manager of the bank’s east location. Matt Allred joins the bank’s east location as vice president-commercial lending. Angie Johnston has been named lead teller/customer service representative for the bank’s west branch.

Michael Heggeness has been hired as the chairman and program director of orthopaedics at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita.

Jennifer Franks, a physician assistant, has joined the endocrinology department at Via Christi Clinic on East Murdock.

Anne Torkelson, a physician assistant, has joined the allergy and asthma department at Via Christi Clinic on East Murdock.

Emily VinZant, a family medicine physician, has joined Via Christi Clinic’s new location at 990 S. George Washington Blvd.

Kathy Hewett, advanced practice registered nurse, has joined Via Christi Clinic on South George Washington Boulevard.


Kindra Goertzen has been promoted to digital marketing and public relations manager at United Way of the Plains, and Barry Owens has been promoted to video communications and advertising manager at the agency.
