Symposium on epilepsy offered for health-care providers

The Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas is hosting a free symposium in April for physicians, nurses and health advocates.
The symposium will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka.
The program offers continuing education credits for providers and will cover several epilepsy issues, including treatment, diagnosis, psychosocial issues and “sudden unexpected death epilepsy.”
Program materials, breakfast and lunch are included.
