KanCare reschedules meetings for providers, recipients

KanCare, the state’s new privatized Medicaid program, has rescheduled some meetings for recipients and providers that had been canceled because of bad weather, according to a news release from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The meetings will be held in three cities from March 18 to March 20.
In Wichita, the meeting for health care and service providers will be at 1 p.m. March 20. The meeting for recipients will be at 6.p.m. March 20. Both meetings will be at the Wichita State University Metroplex, Room 180, 5015 E. 29th St. North.
In Hays, the provider meeting will be at 1 p.m. and the consumer meeting will be at 6 p.m. on March 18 at the Ramada Inn, 3603 Vine St.
In Dodge City, only a provider meeting will be held. It will be at 1 p.m. March 19 at the Holiday Inn Express, 2320 West Wyatt Earp Boulevard.
