Re/Max Realty Pros adds auction division, names new supervising broker

Real estate firm Re/Max Realty Professionals is adding an auction division.

Real estate firm Re/Max Realty Professionals is adding an auction division.

Kirk Short, broker and co-owner of the firm, said in a news release that Nick Holzrichter of H&H Auctions in Newton will serve as the firm’s auctioneer under the H&H Auctions name.

“Nick will allow our organization to offer new services to our clients and agents,” Short said in the release. “Nick will also be able to provide his services to other Realtors outside of Re/Max as we are letting him facilitate these auctions under the H&H Auctions banner so that other agents and companies can be comfortable with working with him.”

Short said the firm had been contemplating the addition of an auction division for some time “due to the successes of auctions in and around the Wichita Area.”

The firm operates offices in east and west Wichita.

Re/Max also has promoted Cheryl Huebert to supervising broker. Short said in the release that Huebert will take the role from him, so he and partner Jeff Bennett can concentrate on growing the firm, which has about 34 agents.
