The Pipeline entrepreneurial fellowship program has announced its incoming class of fellows for 2013, including Wichitan Alexandros Cavgalar.
Cavgalar, CEO and chief technology officer of Ulterius Technologies, is among the class of 13 entrepreneurs who come from Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.
The new class was announced at Pipeline’s Innovator of the Year event in Kansas City, Mo., Thursday night.
Cavgalar joins 10 other Wichita entrepreneurs who have participated in Pipeline since 2007.
According to a Pipeline news release, Cavgalar recently earned a doctorate in electrical engineering at Wichita State University, held a Distinguished Member of Technical Service status at Alcatel-Lucent, and was part of Bell Labs Concept Development Research Center.
The year-long Pipeline program that serves primarily entrepreneurs in technology and the biosciences provides fellows quarterly education sessions and networking with seasoned entrepreneurs and experts as well as venture capitalists.
